Client Spotlight: Teresa Suydam

We love album launches—especially of our awesome clients! ✨🎵

Teresa Suydam's debut full-length album "Lost Bird" just dropped recently, a labor of love she couldn't wait to share with all of us.

"A 'lost bird' is someone adopted out of their tribal community—and that's me. This project is a journey of healing from generational trauma and rediscovering identity through the lens of my Native and Filipino heritage. With pop hooks, cinematic flair, cultural rhythms, and voice memos woven throughout, this album is my most personal work yet."

From music in film/TV to two Native American Music Award nominations and fresh off Denver’s Underground Music Showcase, Lost Bird is a heartfelt, talented work you shouldn't miss!

Congratulations, Teresa!

Client Spotlight: Heather Schulte at PlatteForum

Heather Schulte first cross-stitched at the age of 5.

Today, her interactive exhibition is on display at the PlatteForum A.I.R. Annex Gallery!

This week's Client Spotlight is on Heather's unique and inspiring work "What Makes it Home", which explores the notion of “home” as a site for dialogue about socio-political issues. How are shelter, health, and safety inextricable from each other and our constantly shifting economic and political contexts? Can we expand our ideas and beliefs about “home” to radically welcome not only other people, but also fully embrace our own selves?

Back in 2020, Heather also founded "Stitching the Situation", a creative, collaborative response to the pandemic providing a space for connection and healing in the community.

Swipe to explore Heather's creative work—and then head on to the PlatteForum gallery to experience it firsthand!

Client Spotlight: Cottonwood Institute

Cottonwood Institute goes to Denver International Airport! 🖌️🏔🛫

This week's Client Spotlight is on Cottonwood Institute's beautiful 14ers Exhibit at Denver International Airport. Local Denver artist Mike Wilson generously donated his collection of 53 watercolors of all 14ers (peaks over 14,000 feet) in Colorado to help the organization serve its mission. The exhibit runs until September 2024!

Who is Cottonwood Institute?

Cottonwood Institute is an award-winning non-profit organization working to connect middle and high school students to nature and inspire them to protect it. They collaborate with schools and youth organizations along the Colorado Front Range to provide high-quality, high-impact environmental education and service-learning programs.

How can the exhibit help Cottonwood Institute serve its mission?

Reprints of artworks are available for sale on Cottonwood Institute’s 14ers Artwork Store site and all net proceeds will help fund their programs for students who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity to explore the outdoors in Colorado.

How YOU can make a difference...

Snap a selfie in front of your favorite 14er when you pass by the 14ers Exhibit at DEN, share why you love it, and tag @cottonwoodinstitute and #14ersArtworkDEN for a chance to win a free print at the end of the exhibit!
